DEWY WINTER SKIN

I almost never wear a full face of foundation. I just use a creamy concealer and some setting powder. My skin simply glows after switching up my skincare routine, and I want to let this show through.

Like the cold weather dulls my sense of fashion, it also tones back my makeup.  I can't imagine walking around with a full beat face in the Philadelphia snow. However, I've noticed this terrible weather recking havoc on my skin; I have very dry skin even on a good day. I wanted to find a way to protect my skin and stay moisturized, without being so full coverage. Anything too matte dries my skin out. I like a dewy look.  Tinted moisturizers I used in the past don't contain enough moisture for me, and I doubling up with an additional moisturizer leaves my skin feeling soppy and sticky. Gross!  After scrolling through blogs and youtube videos,  I found what works best for me!  Most likely, you already own everything as well.
I mixed my favorite foundation with a simple drug store face cream. As I wanted minimal coverage, my mixture contained more face cream than foundation, but however you mix is completely up to you.
My favorite foundation is the LUMI True Match by L'Oreal.  I love the added glow. It compliments this mix very well. A very dewy look, and I love a good drugstore foundation.  I do use a light pressed powder, just because I absolutely hate the feeling of wet skin. I use Laura Mercier. I find it light enough that the glow is able to shine through.
